WORKING POSITIVELY WITH PARENTS - A GUIDE

This guide is designed to help schools at their current practice in working with parents and provides practical suggestions on ways in which a positive working partnership can be developed. It follows on from the booklet 'Working Positively with Parents - At Home and at School' (available below) which drew on good practice within the South East Region to provide guidance on schools on training and induction of staff in working with parents.

It also links in with the Government's intention to reduce the scope of OFSTED insopections and encourage schools to seek improvement through self-assessment.
