Medway,along with many local education authorities, is continually looking for ways to improve its SEN systems and provisions so that resources available are used to their fullest in enabling pupils and students to realise their potential. The project is providing an invaluable opportunity to share and understand developments that are taking place in the south-east of England within the arena of special educational needs so that we are able to translate the best ideas into our own thinking. It is generating the capacity for a unit of purpose and sharing of best ideas, particularly within the context of developing and sustaining working relationships with parents.
